Coordinating panel to the drapery, Mizu Garden Wallpanel is printed onto non-woven paper, replicating the aesthetic of handmade parchment, and has a subtle iridescent finish, adding further sophistication to this artwork.
Mizu Garden is a serene hand painted oasis inspired by Japanese watercolor paintings and features two red crowned cranes, which in Asian culture are a symbol of luck and longevity. The cranes are elegantly wading within the Mizu water garden, which features floral motifs referencing waterlilies from Lotus and peonies and wisteria flowers from our previous prints, Peonia and Papillon. The name Mizu derives from the Japanese word for water. The palette is nuanced, anchored in mineral green foliage, accented with feminine floral motifs, expertly hand painted in shades of pinks, reds and purple.
The Mizu Garden Panel is comprised of 5 x 52cm wide drops, which are 300cm high. The 5 drops are supplied on a continuous roll, each drop is indicated with a cut line for ease of installation. When joined together the finished panel is 260cm wide x 300cm high in a straight match. If you wish to extend the Mizu Garden Panel, you will need to order an additional roll. The panels can be joined together in a straight match.

I am a huge fan of Japanese design, so it is no surprise that the Ikigai collection by Mokum is one of my absolute favourite collections.
