The Palliser Ridge Twill Check Wool Throw in Forest is NZ made, woven from 100% lambswool with a classic twill check pattern. Soft, warm and beautifully made, it supports local production and makes a thoughtful gift for friends and loved ones overseas, a special piece from home.
Wool is naturally breathable and temperature-regulating, so this throw keeps you warm without extra bulk, perfect for draping over an armchair or folding at the end of a bed as the weather cools.
Palliser Ridge wool is fully traceable, Land to Market verified and meets the globally recognised Responsible Wool Standard.

Palliser Ridge wool throws are made in New Zealand from start to finish. The lambswool is shorn from the Law family's own Romney flock at Pirinoa in South Wairarapa, scoured in Napier, spun in Lower Hutt and woven in Auckland.
Each throw is 100% New Zealand lambswool with a fringed edge, in Herringbone and Twill Check designs. A New Zealand made gift with a story you can tell, for a home here or a loved one overseas.

Sale items are not eligible for refunds. They may be returned for store credit or exchange only. Items discounted by more than 20% cannot be returned or exchanged.
To initiate a return, please email us at hello@inkandbrayer.co.nz to request a Return Authority number. We will then provide the return address and instructions.

Our merino range, by Exquisite Wool Traders, are a fine weave with silky softness. They are best when buying for someone who has sensitive skin or has a tactile sensitivity. Our other wool blankets are soft too, but the merino are softest. The Fischbacher 1819 Alpaca throws are exquisitely soft too if you are after a special, premium product.
We do our best to ensure our product images are as accurate as possible, but colours may vary depending on your screen settings.

Once we confirm if we have the throw in stock you can book an appointment or if you're out of town, we're happy to send photos or videos so you can get a better idea of what you're looking at.
Some of our throws are made from 100% New Zealand wool, which means the wool itself is sourced from NZ sheep—renowned for producing high-quality, durable, and soft fibres. However, not all of these are made in New Zealand.
The term NZ wool refers to the origin of the wool, while NZ made means the product is actually manufactured in New Zealand. Some of our NZ wool throws are woven offshore (for example, in Europe) by mills that specialise in traditional weaving techniques, using NZ wool as the raw material.
