Returns Policy
At Ink & Brayer, we want your shopping experience to be enjoyable and risk-free. We offer a 30-day returns policy on most products — but not all items are eligible for return. Please read the following carefully to understand our policies and exceptions.
What Can Be Returned
We accept returns or exchanges within 30 days of purchase for most eligible items. You may choose:
- A refund to your original payment method
- A store credit
- An exchange for another item
What Cannot Be Returned
- Outlet items: All sales are final. These cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Custom or customised items: These are made especially for you and cannot be returned.

- Orla Kiely
- Brink and Campman
- Marimekko
- Soren Liv
Returns During Sale Periods
- Items purchased on sale cannot be refunded.
- You may return a sale item for store credit or exchange only.
Rug Returns – Important Notes
- You must contact us within one day of delivery to notify us of your intention to return a rug.
- The following rugs can be returned but will incur a 15% restocking fee to cover shipping and supplier costs:
- Weave Home
- Baya

Items Paid with Afterpay
- Items paid via Afterpay can be returned.
- A 6% fee applies to refunds to cover Afterpay transaction fees.
Return Conditions
To be eligible for a return:
- You must contact us to request a Return Authority Number before sending the item back. The return address will be provided at this time.
- Items must be in original, unused condition, including product tags and packaging.
- Shipping costs are not refundable.
- You are responsible for return shipping costs and appropriate protective packaging.
- We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot replace items lost or damaged in transit.
- Returned items must be received within 30 days of the purchase date.
Additional Care Notes
Some items — such as velvets — require careful handling. Avoid folding, and roll where possible to protect delicate fabrics. If unsure how to package an item for return, please contact us for advice.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If the item is faulty or incorrect:
- Contact us immediately.
- We will cover return shipping and organise a courier collection.
- You may choose a replacement or a refund, depending on the situation.
If the item is damaged in transit:
- Please photograph the item and packaging as soon as possible.
- Contact us right away — we’ll advise if the item needs to be returned.
- We will cover all replacement and shipping costs.
