Loan Sample Deposit
Seeing a rug sample in the space you intend to place it is absolutely the best way to choose the right rug. The lighting and colours in your environment can significantly affect how the rug will appear. A sample also allows you to get a feel for the quality and assess the practicality for your lifestyle.

We will need to check availability of the sample and confirm stock of the rugs you are interested in. You may also like to chat with us about practical choices for your space or get some personalised recommendations—we’re always happy to help.
This deposit is required to ensure the samples are returned to us, as they are difficult to replace. It will be fully refunded once the samples are returned in good condition.
Viewing Tips:
We recommend placing the sample directly on the floor in the room where the rug will go. View it at different times of the day and evening, as lighting changes can affect how the colour reads. It’s important to view the sample flat rather than holding it in your hand—this gives a more accurate impression of both the texture and the overall appearance. Often, what looks textural or bold up close will appear more subtle when laid out on the floor.

You can order a rug sample through this page. It's a good idea to check in with us first to see if the one you're after is available—we're also happy to offer advice if you're not quite sure what might suit your space. If you're feeling unsure about where to start, just give us a call—we're always happy to help. A $50 deposit applies, which is fully refunded when the samples are returned.
We generally ask you to return the samples promptly as we need to use them for other customers, and so you can get your deposit back. If we don't have the samples back within about two weeks, we'll send you a reminder.
We use a shared-shipping approach: we cover the cost to send the samples out to you, and you'll just need to cover the return shipping. We don't provide return labels, so you can simply use your preferred courier or postal service to send them back.
