It’s difficult to judge a rug from a screen. Seeing a sample in your own space makes all the difference.

We hold samples of most of our rugs and can send a square directly to you, so you can check colour and texture alongside your flooring, paint and furniture.

If you’d like guidance, you’re also welcome to visit our Auckland studio. We can help you narrow down options, discuss sizing and placement, and view pieces not listed online — all in a relaxed, one-on-one appointment.

Outdoor floor rugs can be cleaned by washing with your garden hose, or with a damp cloth and warm soapy water. Hang outside to dry. You can also shake your floor rug outside to remove dust and dirt.

If using inside, gentle vacuuming or shaking outside is recommended to prevent dust and crumbs from settling to the roots of the fibres. Avoid using a turbo or brush head when vacuuming as this will create matting.

Spot clean spills immediately by gentle dabbing at the mark. Use warm, soapy water to clean water-based stains. Oil-based spills should be cleaned immediately with textile cleaning solution. Do not dry clean.

To ensure product longevity we recommend bringing the floor rug indoors when not in use.

Leaving your floor rug in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time may result in colour deterioration.

Baya rugs may be returned, however a 15% restocking fee applies to cover supplier and outgoing freight costs. The cost of return freight is the responsibility of the purchaser.

You must contact us within 24 hours of delivery if you wish to return a rug.
