It’s difficult to judge a rug from a screen. Seeing a sample in your own space makes all the difference.

We hold samples of most of our rugs and can send a square directly to you, so you can check colour and texture alongside your flooring, paint and furniture.

If you’d like guidance, you’re also welcome to visit our Auckland studio. We can help you narrow down options, discuss sizing and placement, and view pieces not listed online — all in a relaxed, one-on-one appointment.

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Note that jute, Hemp and Sisal fibres that have been dyed are susceptible to colour fading and this should be expected over time.

Do not dry clean or wash. Remove spills immediately by gentle spot cleaning with a soft-bristled brush or a clean cloth using a small amount of luke warm water. If using a cloth, gently dab at the mark - never rub.

If removing tough stains such as red wine or tomato sauce, use a clean white cloth, dipped in soda water. This neutralises acids and odours and helps to remove any residual colour,

Dry the area as quickly as possible by placing the floor rug in a breezy or warm and dry area of the house. Spot cleaning can also be done with a sisal/jute specific dry-cleaning kit. These can be purchased in carpet stores or online, and are relatively simple to use. For a deep clean, we recommend using a skilled specialist.

Baya rugs may be returned, however a 15% restocking fee applies to cover supplier and outgoing freight costs. The cost of return freight is the responsibility of the purchaser.

You must contact us within 24 hours of delivery if you wish to return a rug.

We offer FREE standard door-to-door shipping to all New Zealand addresses on Weave Home rugs over $250. Orders are dispatched directly from an Auckland warehouse once processed — usually within two business days.
